NCYPE
Individuals, groups of friends/colleagues and businesses support our work to enhance the lives of children at the NCYPE. Whatever your skills or interests, we know that you will add real value to our team of volunteers, who are dedicated to improve the lives of the students at the Centre.

SHELTER
At Shelter we are always looking for volunteers. Apply to become one now to gain some valuable work experience and the satisfaction of helping a good cause.

HENSHAWS
I don’t have much spare time..... You can I still help? We couldn’t provide our services without the support of our volunteers. Opportunities are available for both regular, weekly help and one-off projects. You can give as much time as you have to spare.

DAVID LEWIS CENTRE
We welcome enquiries from people looking to support the Centre in a volunteer capacity. Volunteers can choose the number of hours and days that they commit to and work in a variety of areas, such as supporting care staff in their work with the residents, Day Services and the school and college areas.

BRITISH WATERWAYS
In many ways, the waterways today are only here because of volunteers. The waterways would be very different without them. Volunteers play a key role in our vision for the waterways so if you are looking for an exciting opportunity to support our 200 year old canal network we would love to hear from you. Be a part of it.

SSAFA
There are many different roles at a local level including caseworking, fundraising, IT support and volunteer management. Whatever you do will be greatly appreciated by the people who need our help.

DFID Diaspora Volunteering Programme
The DFID Diaspora Volunteering Programme, working through over 20 diaspora organisations, provides funding to help skilled professionals from the UK’s diaspora communities volunteer to work in their countries or continents of heritage and for the volunteers to make a meaningful contribution to a development project.

ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY
The RSC Friends is run by a group of six volunteers. They each work towards the organising and running of Friends' events. The organisers also make decisions on the Friends' funding and help organise volunteer work within the RSC.

AIR CADETS
At Air Cadets, we constantly assess our past achievements, implement changes to meet the challenges of today and make plans for the future. And a huge part of that planning is you. As the backbone of our organisation we're always on the look out for high-calibre individuals to become volunteers, helping to run the activities that play such an important role in the lives of our young members.

UNISON
What opportunities are there to get involved in our registered charity UNISON Welfare? With the emphasis on improving training and support for our volunteers alongside the development of services, this is an exciting time to get involved in UNISON Welfare. As well as the satisfaction gained from supporting their colleagues at times of difficulty many of our volunteers have used the experience for personal and professional development and even as a stepping stone to a new career.

GIVE BLOOD
Blood is something we all expect to be there for us when we need it, yet only 4% of us give blood. Many people would not be alive today if it wasn't for the generosity of our donors. Do something amazing...Give Blood

ENGLISH NATIONAL BALLET
English National Ballet invites you to indulge your love of ballet by becoming a personal friend and supporter of the Company. The quality of our work is superb but it cannot be sustained on Government funding alone, which is why we are so grateful to the many individuals and business partners who support our work.

FORESTRY COMMISSION
Do you want to help look after your local woodlands? Whatever your age, ability, or fitness level there are plenty of opportunities for volunteering.
